The plan

What is Daybowl?

Daybowl is a calm 14-day vegetarian reset for iPhone: daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, recipes, an ingredient guide, shopping prep and a step-by-step cook mode. It is made for busy beginners who want to know what to cook and what to buy.

What does a day look like?

The everyday default is one breakfast dish and two lunch/dinner dishes. Each meal also lists an optional addition, and optional additions are off by default. You can see Day 1 in full on How it works.

Can I skip a meal, restart or jump to another day?

Yes. Each meal can be marked Done or Skipped, or set back to Not started. You can continue from another day, or restart the plan.

What happens after Day 14?

Today offers your favorites and curated pairings. Reminders stop after Day 14.

Cooking and shopping

Can I cook for just one person?

Yes. Choose one or two people; two is the default. The choice is shared across recipe detail, cook mode, shopping and sharing, and supported numeric measures scale to sensible fractions.

How does cook mode work?

Cook mode opens directly to the first instruction. Each step shows only the image and instruction, with compact navigation.

Can I shop for more than one day?

Yes. Shop for a selected day, Today, the next three or seven days (ending at Day 14), all 14 days, or added recipes only, according to access. Check items as “Have it”, show only items to buy, and share or copy the missing items.

Can I avoid ingredients?

Yes. Pick ingredients to avoid, or turn on Hide allergen & high-risk foods. Both apply across recipes, the plan and shopping lists. Safety adaptation is free.

Are there reminders?

Meal and evening-prep notifications are optional, local and separately controlled. There are no reminders after Day 14.

Pricing

What is free?

Day 1, its recipes, its cook mode and its selected-day shopping list are free. Safety adaptation is free too.

Use Restore Purchases in Daybowl. It restores through the App Store.

Privacy and data

Do I need an account?

No. Daybowl has no account, backend, cloud sync or email collection.

What data does Daybowl collect?

None. Daybowl’s App Store privacy answer is “No, we do not collect data from this app.” There are no analytics, ads or tracking SDK. Read the privacy promise.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Daybowl works offline from a bundled catalog and stores your progress locally on your iPhone.

Which iPhones does it run on?

Daybowl is a native iPhone app for iOS 17 and later.

How do I delete my data?

Use Delete All Local Data in the app. It removes your local state and cancels notifications. It does not revoke an App Store purchase.

Safety

Is Daybowl medical advice?

Daybowl is for food education and cooking organization. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

Food education only. Not medical advice.

Is Daybowl for children?

Daybowl is designed for adults and is not a meal plan for infants or children. If any component is served to a child, a parent or guardian must supervise eating and adapt its shape, size, and texture to reduce choking risk; whole grapes, whole nuts, whole beans, and hard raw produce can be choking hazards. This app shares food and wellness education inspired by Ayurvedic traditions. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are pregnant, have a medical condition, take medication, have food allergies, have a weakened immune system, or follow a prescribed diet, consult a qualified clinician before changing your diet. Follow each recipe's food-safety and allergen cautions.

Why does the plan say not to sprout at home?

The plan uses commercially produced sprouts, thoroughly cooked, and asks you not to sprout at home for this plan.
